The VMSL has established strict communication and conduct guidelines to ensure professionalism, consistency, and fairness across all league operations. All teams, coaches, and players are required to follow the procedures outlined below.
Official VMSL Communication Policy
All VMSL‑related matters — before, during, and after matches — must be communicated through your team’s coach or team manager. They are responsible for submitting any official inquiries or concerns to the league through the proper channels.
Communication Guidelines
To maintain order and proper league operations:
- Do not text or call any VMSL Director regarding league matters. These attempts will be ignored.
- Players and coaches must not approach league directors during matches to discuss rules, game concerns, or any soccer‑related issues.
- All league matters must be communicated only through your coach or team manager, who will follow the official process.
- Any verbal or in‑person confrontation with a VMSL Director — on or off the field — regarding referees, results, or rules will be treated as an unofficial complaint and will not be investigated due to failure to follow proper protocol.
During Games
- Only referees may be approached for rule clarifications, and this must be done respectfully.
- Players and coaches must not approach league directors during matches.
- Any concerns must be reported to your coach or team manager, who will submit them through the official complaint process.
Official Responses
The VMSL will respond only through:
- Official communication submitted by team officials
- Completed VMSL forms submitted through the proper channels
No other communication methods will be used.
VMSL Business Hours
All league business is conducted during:
🕘 Monday to Friday — 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
